HD Tune Pro 3.1

HD Tune Pro is a hard disk utility and benchmarking utility for Windows. This tiny application allows you to scan your hard drives in search for errors or anomalies.

The graphical user interface is really intuitive and it allows you to use the several different tabs to get a little more information from the program. The main tab is benchmark, which shows you a graphic with your hard drives' speed. You can start a test which will write a dummy file in the hard drive and will read from it so that it can assess the read and write speeds of your disc. After that you are presented with a report. You can also head to the Hard disc monitor, where you can see real-time usage of your discs. There are several tabs destined to showing you have the files and folders of your system stack up. You can even delete and move files from within the application. The info tab gives you summary of everything on your system, paying special emphasis to the hard drive. If you want to check on the health of your discs, head to the health tab.
